This order is a re-creation. I do not know its authors intent.
Dated 1951, this style of form was not in use at that time.
Austin Tower, Minnesota:
Blockton, Iowa:
It's fascinating how they used the term "Motor," instead of "Engine" or "Eng"
as it is abbreviated, when referring to diesels. Most operations with such a
reference had an interurban heritage somewhere in their past. As far as I am aware,
the CGW did not. Possibly stems from early years with their McKeen cars?
Byron, Illinois:
An unusual font was used here. Normally block letters were the standard
for a train order typewriter. Also, there is use of upper and lower case
letters, plus punctuation. All of this was usually frowned upon.
Cannon Falls, Minnesota:
Note the rubber stamped station name. Such a method,
again, was generally frowned upon by most railroads.
Carol Stream, Illinois:
Formerly named Gretna.

Esmond, Illinois:
Note the interesting addressees! GM 4351 was a demonstrator SD45. GM 433A was also
a demonstrator. A predecessor to the GP40, built on a GP35 frame, with flared SD45
style radiators. Incorrectly referenced by many railfans as a "GP40X," it was not.
For any who doubt it happened, here they are, both, on the CGW and together!
Fairbank, Iowa:
Another re-created order. Again, issue year shown pre-dates this style of form.
